Amy RhodesAmy is a writer and performer living in Los Angeles. Amy was recently a writer on the MTV show America's Best Dance Crew. Prior to that, she was the Director Of Content and a staff writer for Will Ferrell, Judd Apatow and Adam McKay's web site Funny or Die. She created and wrote the sitcom Stalled for the Oxygen network, based on a show she co-wrote and performed in at UCBT in New York and Los Angeles.
At UCBTLA, Amy wrote and directed the play Three Compañeros, which was recommended by, Defamer and LA City Beat. Amy has written and performed in two solo shows and is the recipient of the Emerging Comics Award for Best Solo Show. In New York, she co-created and performed in the play Spooky Dog & The Teen-Age Gang Mysteries, which was published by Samuel French, Inc. and is currently being produced in regional theatres across the country. Amy has appeared on "Late Night With Conan O'Brien," "Last Call With Carson Daly," "Lewis Black's Root of All Evil" and Fuel TV's "The Daily Habit" and has performed at The San Francisco Sketch Fest and Las Vegas Comedy Festival. She's a teacher at UCB where she has been a member of several Harold Teams and has performed in Sketch Cram, ASSSSCAT and with the all-female improv team Mother F'rs.
